Diamond Elegance

This Belmont, MA, family moved into a newly constructed home. They disliked the cookie-cutter, brown-themed primary bathroom, which didn’t match their style. Their goal: transforming it into a lavish retreat. They envisioned artistic details, improved lighting, and a more cohesive layout.

Many of our clients face this issue. They have space and potential for more light, but their homes lack thoughtful design. Our clients wanted their bathroom to be more than just functional.

In a creative collaboration, Feinmann embraced our clients’ vision. We transformed the master bathroom, creating a smooth flow by opening up space and softening corners. We added a captivating vanity wall, a grand freestanding soaking tub that offers a stunning view of Boston, and an expanded shower.

To add depth and warmth, we used diamond-shaped mosaic marble tiles that repeat throughout the bathroom. This pairs well with the elegant La Marcia Carrara hexagon porcelain heated floors. Stylish custom-stained Alder floating cabinets provide storage and character. Three slender cylindrical sconces offer soft, ambient lighting for the vanity area.

Feinmann relocated and enlarged the shower to make the space feel more open and bright. Its surrounding glass panels expands the visual space, welcoming natural light. The angled shower entry creates an easy path to the private water closet.

Completing the “transitional” design, we introduced a bold 66″ free-standing soaking tub. This sculptural centerpiece provides an ultimate place to unwind while enjoying the view outside the window.

Glass-Enclosed Shower

A glass-enclosed shower offers a sleek and modern aesthetic while keeping water contained. It enhances the visual spaciousness of the bathroom and allows ample natural light to filter through, creating an open and refreshing bathing experience.

Recessed Shelving

Recessed shelving maximizes storage without encroaching on space. It keeps toiletries organized and easily accessible, eliminating clutter while seamlessly blending with the bathroom’s design for a tidy and functional solution.

Free-Standing Tub

A free-standing tub serves as a striking centerpiece, adding elegance and luxury to the bathroom. It provides a standalone oasis for relaxation, and its placement can be flexible, optimizing the flow and arrangement of the space.

Mosaic Tiles

Mosaic tiles bring intricate patterns and vibrant colors to the bathroom, adding artistic flair. They offer durability and are easy to clean, transforming walls and floors into visually captivating focal points.

Floating Vanity

A floating vanity creates an illusion of more floor space and facilitates easy cleaning underneath. It lends a modern, uncluttered appearance to the bathroom while offering functional storage, combining form and function seamlessly.
